The Pioneers have been mapping. We have met some new vocabulary-route, scale and key. We discussed Bird’s Eye View and made large scale streets using our Troll Houses. We rehearsed the phrases needed when crossing the road, to stop, look, listen and think.
We also went to the forest to forage for bits and pieces to make outdoor settings for the story. We used rocks and dough and soil to make these. The sun shone and the wind blew which was very lovely.
The Pioneers used the settings to play and retell the story of Peer Gynt and the Troll King.
This was a privilege to watch.
