Our classes at Sleights are organised into mixed age groups. We changed the names of our classes in September 2018, as we wanted all children and classes to have their own unique identity, but belong to our wider school family. After discussions with families, children and staff, we decided to name our classes Explorers to Leaders.
In 2019, Learners class was created, due to rising school numbers and the desire to keep class sizes small.
All children start their journey at Sleights exploring learning and we aspire for them to leave a leader. The characteristics and behaviours we hope to instill and teach our children are also encompassed in the names of our other classes (Pioneer, Adventure and Discover)
